Now for Pictures....

same procedure to follow as below, but when you go to +NEW POST look above the LARGE text box there are some icons. If you move the cursor over them you can read what they do. We are interested in the 2nd to last one that reads "Add Image". When you click on that one it will take you to another screen there will be a text box with the word "Browse" next to it. Click on the browse button and go to the file that your picture is in, select it and it will automatically copy it into the box. I found it easiest in the beginnig to copy the picture I wanted to post onto my desktop, that way finding it when I browsed was easy. Click PUBLISH POST and you are done.

You can add text above and below your picture as long as you keep the "picture file" intact. Just put some space above or below and type way.
Ya know you are gonna get pictures of my grandkids if you do not start posting yourselves.

Help to make a Post.....

here is some info to help you contribute to the blog.
If you want to post a message such as this one and the baby announcement it is fairly simple.
Sign in with your user name and password, you will get to a screen called the Dashboard. There should be an option that looks like....
+ New Post....click on that. The next screen has text boxes, the one on top is called the Title, that is where you can put the subject of the info you are posting. Below that is a larger box, that is where you type the "body" of the message, that is what you are reading right now. When you are done with your information just click the orange button on the bottom "PUBLISH POST"
That will get you on the Blog. Here goes....

......you guys signing up as contributors. I do not know how familiar you are with this stuff, so if I am telling you stuff you already know ignore me please.
If you click on the pictures that I post it will take you to MY Dropshots account which will have all the pix that we have from the reunion. Plus tons of others from months past if you are interested. You can have your own dropshots account for free just follow the instructions on the website. The benefit is the ease of moving your pictures around (definitely download the "Dropbox") and posting on the Blog, PLUS if your system crashes you do not lose your photos.
Next, at the bottom of each picture or entry there is a "pencil" with "comments" next to it....if you click there you can post a comment about what you read or have seen. Please, either sign in so it will know who made the comment automatically OR if you are rushed, just click the button "other" and you can type in who you are. Sometimes I am Big Sister Laurie, or Gramma depending on what I am commenting on.

.....it appears that the original website of the Tranter Clan has bitten the dust, and since I have everyone's email address, a bunch of pictures, and I know how to do this one....this is where I am putting everything.
Please feel free to contribute and complain I will try and accomodate reasonable criticism. If anyone wants to take it over please say so.
